Anni Pokela

Anni Pokela is a strategist and co-founder of Operaatio Arktis, a Finnish climate strategy agency working to preserve the polar ice caps and prevent global tipping points by promoting research and development of climate interventions. Currently completing her Master’s degree in Gender Studies at the University of Helsinki, she brings an ecofeminist perspective to climate intervention technologies. An experienced public speaker at high-level international events, she advocates for updating climate strategies to address the extreme climate risks facing younger generations. Operaatio Arktis has been recognised with the State Award for Public Information for their science-based climate communication.
