Hosea Patrick

Dr. Hosea Patrick is a transdisciplinary social scientist. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Africa and Black Diaspora Studies (ABLDs), McMaster University, Canada. He is also a Research Associate at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Patrick is an environmental politics and governance scholar with a secondary focus on political theory. His work explores the complex policy dynamics of delivering from theory to practices, the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 16 (social and environmental justice), 13 (climate change) and 2 and 6 (human security-water and food) for Black communities. He has published over 45 peer-reviewed articles and co-edited 3 books.
