Dr. Jackie Kado serves as Executive Director of the Network of African Science Academies (NASAC), a Nairobi-based consortium of 32 national academies advancing scientific excellence and policy across Africa. She plays a key role in strengthening the science-policy interface and fostering strategic partnerships. With nearly 25 years of experience, she champions African-led, evidence-informed approaches to sustainable development. Dr. Kado holds a Doctorate in Human Development, a Master’s in Project Planning and Management, and a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Nairobi. She also serves on several international boards and expert committees.
