Prakash Kashwan is a professor of environmental studies at Brandeis University. He was a member of the Academic Working Group (AWG) on International Governance of Climate Engineering (2016–18) and one of the initiators of the call for the Solar Geoengineering Non-use Agreement. His most recent book, Decolonizing Environmentalism, was published in 2025 by Bloomsbury Academic.
