Trisha Patel

Trisha Patel is a Research Associate at African Tech Futures Lab, where she works on the Climate Interventions Futures Initiative and Africa’s Carbon Dioxide Removal Future project. Her work focuses on the evolving climate intervention landscape, with attention to taxonomy development, governance, and the implications of emerging climate response approaches for African contexts. She is also affiliated with the African Climate Intervention Research Hub, where she contributes to policy and grassroots engagement and she researches climate intervention, climate extremes, and their implications for climate-sensitive sectors. Trisha holds an MSc, with a specialisation in Climate Change and Sustainable Development, from the University of Cape Town.
