Africa is home to many of the world’s least developed nations and its population is rapidly growing, making it one of the most climate-vulnerable regions in the world. As such, Africa has much to gain, or lose, from the potential deployment of SRM. SRM360 hosts a panel discussion with leading African experts about the future of Africa, the climate outlook, and the potential and risks of SRM for the continent.

Moderator: Pete Irvine (SRM360.org & University of Chicago)

Panellists:

  • Babatunde Abiodun, University of Cape Town, South Africa
  • Ernest Ofori, Green Africa Youth Organization, Ghana
  • Nana Ama Browne Klutse, Environmental Protection Authority, Ghana
  • Portia Adade Williams, Science and Technology Policy Research Institute, Ghana
