Ernest Ofori is a climate activist focused on grassroots change and youth empowerment. His experience includes roles as Assistant Project Coordinator at Global Pathways Alliance, Regional Focal Point for Youth Climate Council (YCC) Ghana, Ashanti, and Capacity Building and Education Officer for YCC Ghana. As a trained youth negotiator with YCC Ghana, Ernest has followed Article 6 negotiations. Currently serving as Programme Lead for Mitigation (CDR & SRM) at Green Africa Youth Organizations (GAYO), Ernest coordinates capacity-building projects in climate interventions that democratize knowledge in Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, and South Africa. His work centers on youth engagement, climate education, and supporting local initiatives. Throughout his career, Ernest has championed climate action and sustainability, focusing on equipping young people with the knowledge to become effective climate leaders. His commitment to grassroots climate action continues to inspire others to work toward a more sustainable world.
