Prof. Nana Ama Browne Klutse, the Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Authority, is a distinguished Ghanaian expertise in climate modelling, climate change impacts, Solar Radiation Management, adaptation, and mitigation strategies, particularly in Africa. She has been involved in various high-profile research projects and has contributed significantly to global climate assessments, including her work with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as the Vice Chair of Working Group I.

She is a full professor, researcher and served as the Head of the Department of Physics at the University of Ghana from August 2023 to January 2025. She attended the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, where she dove into the complex details of physics. She then attended the University of Cape Town in South Africa and the International Center for Theoretical Physics in Italy for her doctoral studies in climatology.
